User Reviews are personal opinions, not facts verified or endorsed by ExchangeCatalogue.

2. Who Can Leave a Review

You may leave a review if:

  • You are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction

  • You have first-hand experience with the platform you are reviewing (for example, you opened an account, used their app, or contacted support)

  3. Are defamatory or unlawful

    • Serious accusations (e.g. fraud, crime) made without clear basis

    • Content that violates applicable laws or court orders

     

  4. Share private or sensitive information

    • Personal data such as full names (if not publicly associated with the profile), addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, or private correspondence

    • Confidential information that you are not allowed to share

     

  5. Are spam or promotional content

    • Unrelated advertising or self-promotion

    • Multiple reviews posted to manipulate ratings (e.g. review bombing)

    • Reviews posted as part of undisclosed paid campaigns, bounties, or referrals

     

  6. Contain malicious content

    • Links to malware, phishing sites, or harmful downloads

    • Scripts or attempts to disrupt the Website

     

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse any User Review that violates these rules or that we believe could create unnecessary legal or safety risks.

 

5. Moderation and How We Use Reviews

5.1 Moderation

We may review User Reviews:

  • Automatically (e.g. spam filters, keyword checks)

  • Manually (e.g. when flagged or as part of periodic review)

 

We may take actions including:

5.2 Display and Aggregation

  • Aggregate multiple reviews into average scores or summaries

User Reviews are one signal among many:

  • We do not automatically accept user sentiment as fact and we do not let a small number of reviews fully determine a platform’s score

 

6. Conflicts of Interest & Paid Reviews

To keep the review system as fair as possible:

If we have reason to believe a review is not genuine or is part of an organized campaign, we may remove it and take further action (including banning the user or reporting repeated abuse).

 

7. Editing, Updating, and Removing Reviews

You may request updates or removal of your own review, subject to our technical capabilities and legal obligations.

  • Remain the owner of your content, but

  • Grant ExchangeCatalogue a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your content in connection with the Website and our services

This license continues for as long as we may legally display or use your content, even if you later stop using the Website or request account deletion. If you request removal of specific content, we will consider and process it in line with this Policy and applicable law.

 

10. Liability and Disclaimer

User Reviews:

  • Are created by users, not by ExchangeCatalogue

  • May contain opinions and statements that are not verified and may not be accurate

  • Do not represent our official views, ratings, or recommendations

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • ExchangeCatalogue is not responsible for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from or related to User Reviews

  • You use and rely on User Reviews at your own risk
